Hi! I’m Zack Rhodes, a licensed New York City tour guide and volunteer docent with the Municipal Art Society.

I’ve been fascinated by history for as long as I can remember. I love to look beyond the walls of a building and imagine the lives of the people within. After all, it’s the people who make up very fabric of our communities.

My favorite tours are of neighborhoods that are often overlooked or taken for granted. Most of us in New York have hustled across 34th Street, rushing to catch a train. But do you know about the unsolved crime that took place at the Aberdeen Hotel in K-Town? Or that a U.S. president was inaugurated in a midtown speciality grocery store?

When I’m not exploring the city with a tour group, you can find me at my day job in sales, adventuring around with my wife, Nicole, and dog Frankie, or home with my two cats, Girlfriend and Floyd.
